Comic book/superhero movies?
Is anyone else tired of actors or actresses backing out of hero movie sequels.
Here is the list I have to date.
Batman/Batman returns had Keaton but then used Kilmer and then Clooney as replacements.
James Marsden killed off cyclops just to have a no name part in Superman.
Thomas Jane will not be back to play the Punisher.
Katie Holmes bailed on the Dark Knight
Now Terrance Howard bailed on Ironman 2. Don Cheatle to take over.

These production companies need to start having actors sign trilogy contracts so that if they do decide to make multiple movies they have the same people playing these characters. If they cannot get the main characters back for sequels they might as well not make them. What does everyone else think?
I also heard money was a thing too for Keaton.
But yeah, that would be crazy if those epic movies had major changes to the cast. Die Hards, Rambo, Rocky, Borne Trilogy.
I completely agree with you man. It's B.S! Especially with some of these epic movies. Can you imagine 2 or 3 different Han Salo actors in the Star Wars saga? Or 2 Frodos in LOTR? It doesn't make sense.
To answer a couple of your questions, Keaton backed out of Batman because the director of the previous two (Tim Burton) left because...I cant remember why. But Keaton refused to work with a new director so he left when Burton did.
Katie Holmes bailed because of 'scheduling conflicts' but I also heard because it would have had a conflict with her relgion or somethin, I'm not sure.
Let's just be thankful most of these roles are 'supporting roles' and that the main characters aren't backing out!!
